What is LDS Philanthropies?

Donate to Brigham Young University

Brigham Young University fulfills a vital role in advancing the educational standards promoted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by developing students of
faith, intellect, and character who have the skills and the desire to continue learning and serving others throughout their lives. Approximately 30,000 students study on campus each year across 10 colleges or schools. BYU president Kevin J Worthen has described the university’s role as “inspiring learning,” which helps graduates strengthen and unite diverse religious, political, and social cultures to lift humanity and expand the influence of the Church throughout the world.

Donations to BYU from alumni and friends help provide students with scholarships, mentorships, internships, and study-abroad opportunities. In addition to student
aid, donations assist in funding programs, constructing buildings, and fulfilling the university’s mission.
